Sky n Clouds inspired Eye makeup! β›…οΈβ˜οΈπŸŒ€

Hi Guys,

It’s been a while since I did my last “inspired Eye makeup” look. Well I have been looking for inspirations and stuff and now I am here with this amazing Sky n Clouds Inspired Eye makeup look! Check it out!

I loved creating this look and couldnt wait to share it with you all! Especially because it is so easy and takes very less number of products.

So read on to know how I created this look!

  • First and foremost, I primed my eyes with B&D concealer. I’m thinking I should get myself an eyeshadow primer!
  • I used the NYX Jumbo Eye pencil in the shade Milk all over my lids. Since I was using light shades, I wanted the colour to pop out!

Maybelline “The Brights” eyeshadow palette was all it took for this look!

  1. For the crease, with a light hand at that!
  2. For the inner corner of my eyes and I built it up a bit to make it prominent.
  3. For the outer corner of my eyes and I built it up nicely until I was happy with the shade and look.

That completed the eyeshadow part of the look. For eye liner, I wanted it to be in sync with the whole eye makeup. So I chose the Royal Blue pencil eyeliner and lined my upper lids.

I then lined my lower lash line with the shade 1 from The Brights palette. Finally I completed the look with generous splash of The Great Lash mascara by Maybelline! I applied around 3 coats of the product to my upper as well as lower lashes!

And that’s all!

This eye makeup look is absolutely perfect for the summer! It’s in sync with the nature! πŸ˜›πŸ˜…

What do you guys think of it? Let me know!

The Bold Khol Eyes!Β

Hi Guys,

Today, I am actually gonna share a very well kept Indian secret with you all……

Ha ha ha ha ha…….

So much for the dramatic opening to a blog post. But this one is surely a secret to many people. I know that most makeup artists swear by their idea of applying white liner or a nude liner on the lower waterline. They say that it makes your eyes look more fresh and more open!

While that dint’t work out for me as much as I had hoped, I have always preferred heavily Kohl-ed eyes! I feel like it makes your eyes look more dramatic and more glamorous. All it takes is a minute and the emphasis it puts- it turns even the dullest outfit on the hottest day, look picture perfect. πŸ’― πŸ‘Œ

Products it took to achieve this look-

  • The purpley pink shade and the orangey yellow shade from The Brights Palette by Maybelline on my lids.
  • Wet n wild proline felt tip eye liner on the upper lids, lining my lashes.
  • Maybelline Colossal kajal for the lower and upper water line.
  • Maybelline Great Lash mascara for my lashes.

And we are done! I paired it with nude lips for which I used the Nykaa So Matte! Nude lipstick in the shade Praline Cookie! πŸ‘„

What do you guys prefer? White liner or the bold Kohl eyes? πŸ™‚πŸ™‚πŸ™‚

Nykaa Shop n Dash haul…..

Hello people,

How are you all today? Hope all is well!

I’m actually having a peachy day today. It’s my daughter’s first birthday! Even though I am being consumed by a butt load of nostalgia, self-Pity and the question,”How can it be an year already?!”……

Anyway, I shopped a few products during the Nykaa’s legendary ‘Shop n Dash’ sale. They come up with this every once in a while where there is up to 40% off on all products site wide. The exciting part about this sale is, the offer lasts for 24 hours only!

I had been meaning to pick a new foundation from quite some time now. I was so pleased with the Maybelline Fit me foundation that I dint even notice I was running out of it. And I needed a new concealer as well. All that together with a few more impulse purchases! πŸ˜›

So, I have created a look using all the products I bought during the sale.

Look at that glow! I’m simply loving it! So shall we get into my picks that created this glow?

  • Maybelline Dream Satin Skin foundation with SPF 24. Contrary to the Fit Me foundation which is Matte, this one gives a silky and Dewy finish. It is a great product but I must admit that it is not suitable for the weather conditions here (the horrible humidity). I picked the shade 04- Pure beige.
  • Essence Coverstick Concealer in the shade 04- True Nude. Until now I never really bought a concealer. This one simply too perfect. It looks and opens like a lipstick. Of course the best part is, it matches my skin like dream. But as you can see, I still haven’t used a lot of it.

This one is by far my best buy in this haul! The Maybelline falsies push-up drama mascara. Maybelline has the option to choose between water proof and washable. I choose the washable type cuz I’m using mascara quite regularly. It’s truly a magic wand!

How much ever I tried, I simply couldn’t checkout of the site without picking up a highlighter! πŸ˜…

I picked this Faces Ultimate Pro illuminating powder. Since the highlighter I already have is cream based, I was looking to get a powder based highlighter. Well what to say about this one?! The picture speaks for me.

The last and final product-

A lipstick! Of course! I picked this lipstick from the Nykaa So Matte! Festive collection. I picked the shade 14M- California Merlot. It is a plum shade again, but I can’t have enough of maroons in my life! πŸ‘„ πŸ’‹

That ends my haul!

And this ends my look! πŸ˜‹πŸ˜πŸ˜˜

Cherry Blossoms inspired Eye makeup!Β

Hi Friends,

Today I am gonna share a fun look that I created. It is a cherry blossoms inspired Eye makeup look. Now I have never seen these blossoms for real but I have seen them in pictures and movies. That was enough for me to fall in love with these beautiful blossoms. What’s not to love?! They look absolutely angelic!

Anyway jumping into the look, there is an amazing twist here! I created this look using the L’Oreal Lucent Magique Blush of Light Glow Palette – Fuchsia Flush! OK that is such a long name for a blush!

I got this blush as a part of a makeup combo by Loreal. I dint really like the blush as it is too bright for my taste. So when I thought of creating this look, this blush jumped right at me. πŸ˜‰

So starting off with how I created this look-

  1. I primed my eyes with the B&D cream foundation in the shade No. 02
  2. For my eyebrows I used my wet n wild ultimate brow kit.
  3. Then I took the Blush and used the lightest shade in my inner corner, the medium pink shade on rest of my life and the darkest pink shade as the definer. I simply built the shades up until I was satisfied! VOILA! 😍
  4. Then I lined my eyes with my wet n wild proline eye liner. I smudged it out a bit so that it blends in with the look.
  5. For mascara I used my Lakme Absolute curling mascara.

For my lower water line, I used the Maybelline Colossal Kajal and smudged it a little. I then lined the outer part of my lower water line with the medium pink shade.

I am really happy with how this look turned out!

What do you guys think?

Night Sky inspired Eye Makeup! βœ¨βοΈπŸŒŸ

Hi Guys,

Another one in the series of inspired makeup! I seriously love doing this! Just take a look at this beauty!

And it took just 6 products To create this look. Do you wanna know how? Read on!

  1. Eyebrows is always done by Wet n Wild Ultimate eyebrow kit!
  2. This step is kind of a game changer. I applied the B&D Diamond cream as the base on my eye lids. Have done a post on this product, do take a look. The glittery glow it gave seemed perfect base for the look I was creating.

Well these mono eye-shadows by Nouba Cosmetics were the main products of the look. These are seriously amazing eye shadows. Very pigmented and very long lasting. Above all, I bought this during the DSF sale for AED 10 Each (about 200/- Rs) which is so affordable for such heavy duty makeup product.

I used the Navy blue shade on the inner part of my eye lids and the black in the outer! I did not use an eyeliner simply cuz the whole makeup is a little on the darker side.

  1. I used the Maybelline great lash mascara for both upper and lower lash.
  2. Maybelline Colossal kajal for the lower water line.
  3. I took the Navy blue eye shadow and smudged it on the outer part of my lower water line.

And that’s the completed look. I know that it’s a little rough around the edges and not do professional! But that’s OK cuz I am not a professional makeup artist! πŸ™ˆ It’s very simple, uses very less number of products and looks super duper GLAM, that’s what matters! 😊

What do you think about this look? Do let me know in the comments below.

Look Like Her #1- Deepika Padukone in random Pic

Hi Guys,

So kick starting my Look Like Her series with a look worn by my favourite actress- Deepika Padukone! For those of you who don’t know, I’m a die hard fan of her. I love her looks, her styles, her fashion sense, her work, Basically everything! She is this Family oriented south Indian girl (which I can so relate to) who has worked hard and become world famous (not so much relatable! πŸ˜‚)!

Anyway so jumping into the look! Starting with my face! Fresh after a face wash!

  1. I started by priming my face with the Maybelline Baby Skin pore eraser. πŸ’–
  2. I use this cream foundation by Barath & Dorris (shade no. 01) as my concealer. This is Cuz I got a lighter shade by mistake! πŸ˜›
  3. My foundation is Maybelline Fit Me Foundation- Matte & Poreless in the shade 322-Warm Honey. I prefer to use concealer before foundation just Cuz I do not want it to become too bright. (Struggles of a dusky Skinned girl)
  4. The compact I used was Essence Camouflage 2in1 compact & makeup in the shade Honey Biege!

Moving on to eyes which is the major part of the look. Deepika Padukone carries this deeply Kohl-ed eyes and well filled eyebrows. It makes the eyes look so dramatic and you all know how much I love dramatic eyes!

  1. Eyebrows by the Wet n Wild Ultimate Brow kit! I used the dark brown shade which I actually rarely use.
  2. Mascara I used was the Lakme Absolute Curling Mascara. I simply love this mascara. I coated my upper lashes once and then went over it again after I was done with applying Kohl.
  3. Finally the dramatic eyes was defined by the Nykaa eyem black kajal. I used a clean smudger to smudge the kajal and make it thicker and deeper!

The final touch was the coppery red lips. I couldn’t find a lipstick with the same exact shade in my bag. So I decided to mix 2 of the lipsticks I own. I am pretty much happy with how it turned out!

  1. I used the Body Shop Born Lippe Lip Balm first.
  2. Then I applied a light layer of Lakme 9 to 5 weightless mousse lip and cheek tint in the shade Crimson Bell.
  3. I then went over this with my Nykaa So Matte Lipstick in the shade Praline Cookie.

That’s all! 😊😊😊 This is the finished look, Before I worked out my hair!

I then parted my hair nearly in the middle, twisted a small section of my hair on the either side of the partition and pinned it at the back. Tried to make it look like Deepika Padukone’s as much as possible! 😁

The Completed look! πŸ’•πŸ’žπŸ’πŸ’–

Do let me know what you think of it!
